Polite Nhokovedzo is a seasoned Sustainability and ESG expert with over 8 years of experience in implementing ISO-based management systems (including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22301, 27001, 31000) and leading-edge ESG frameworks (GRI, TCFD, SASB, IFRS S1 & S2). His work spans diverse industries, including finance, mining, and manufacturing, where he has demonstrably enhanced sustainable management practices.   Polite possesses significant expertise in ESG reporting, carbon accounting, risk management, human rights due diligence, and stakeholder engagement. He is a proven leader in consulting, auditing, and training, having developed and delivered ESG and ISO standards training to numerous professionals and organisations.   Currently serving as Head of ESG at Davis Granite and holding roles as an ESG Trainer/Consultant, Managing Consultant, University Lecturer, and Council Board Member, Mr. Nhokovedzo brings a wealth of practical and academic experience. He holds an MSc in Safety, Health and Environmental Management, a Master of Commerce in Environmental and Development Economics, and is a PhD candidate. He is also a PECB Certified Trainer and Systems Auditor for multiple ISO standards. His contributions include pioneering ESG framework implementation for Davis Granite, leading successful IMS certification processes, and authoring accredited ESG training materials.
