Dr. (Mrs) Adenike Adeyemi is an Academic, Animal Scientist and a Teens/Young Adults Coach. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Animal Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. where she illuminates minds and cultivates a love for learning in her students. Her commitment to academic excellence shines through her teaching and research in Animal Science with several publications in reputable journals.

She is a Registered Animal Scientist with Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS). She holds a PhD degree in Animal Physiology and Reproduction, and a M.Sc. Animal Science both from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She bagged her first degree (Second class Upper division) in Animal Production and Health from Federal University of Technology, Akure Nigeria. She is a member of Nigerian Society for Animal Production (NSAP), Organization for Women in Science in the Developing world (OWSD), Society for Animal Reproduction and Improvement (SARI) and other professional bodies. She is an International Foundation for Science Grantee (2022) for research on rabbit reproduction and a PI for TETFund IBR (2023) on Alternate feed resources for swine production. Her research has been in the field of Animal Physiology and Reproduction through which she contributes her quota to sustainable livestock production.

Adenike radiates a spirit of boundless inspiration, touching lives across diverse strata. As a beacon of guidance for teens and young adults, she has spent over 15 years teaching and mentoring the next generation and has reached more through her Get-It-Right Initiative. She serves as a student adviser and mentor in her Institution. She serves and teaches in any forum that gives her the opportunity to reach the younger generation. With consistent guidance and a heart full of love, Dr. Adeyemi empowers young minds to identify who they are, discover their purpose and embrace life from the right perspective for global impact.
